- **Base Salary Range - $120,860 - $133,184 + super**
NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join our thriving Finance team as a Finance Business Partner and service our new Early Childhood Division.
In this role you will:
- Support the operation of early childhood education funding programs, planning, and reporting activities consistent with Departmental, Treasury and Government requirements.
- Analyse information and data from a range of sources to develop and provide accurate advice and information to stakeholders and senior staff.
- Partner with divisions to support them with financial management, including supporting them with the annual budget process.
- Seek out and actively manage key stakeholder relationships across supported directorates.
- Analyse information and business data from a range of sources to support high quality correspondence, including reports and submissions for senior Departmental officers.
- Provide responsive, well researched and timely strategic and operational advice to senior managers and directors to support improved financial services, program delivery and administration.

**We are seeking someone with**:
- Excellent finance customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a Finance Business Partner role (highly regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance
- CA or CPA qualification highly regarded
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education and early childhood education and care
**Essential requirements of the role**
- Financial reporting and/or management accounting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to deliver results within tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
