**ABOUT THIS POSITION**:
As a senior management team member reporting to the Operations Manager, you will possess a genuine desire to immerse yourself in the business and be a critical link in our continued success. The Production Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the Curtains Department, and the productivity of production employees in accordance with Work Health & Safety, Company policies and procedures.

As Production Manager you will:

- Daily planning and organising production schedule
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Ensure daily/weekly production outputs are met
- Efficiency improvements
- Supervising and managing the work of junior/new staff
- Organising relevant training sessions
- Maintaining training matrix
- Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with sales staff
- Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.

This is a “hands on” position that requires a self-motivated individual with a desire to make a difference and does not mind getting their hands dirty.

**ABOUT YOU**:
Your professional management background, leadership skills and experience in producing quality custom-built solutions for the consumer market place are required to continue this growth.
- A proven record of people leadership and staff development
- Able to relate to the technical aspects of custom manufacturing and installation is imperative (Min 5 years’ experience at management level)
- IT savvy
- A focus on quality improvement with a passion for custom manufacturing
- Strong analytical and investigative skill
- Proactive approach to the development, implementation, and management of processes and systems
- Able to build relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external
- You will need to be flexible and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline
- You must have full working rights in Australia
- Sound working knowledge of ERP systems is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and Outlook
- Industry experience in Curtains or Blind highly desirable.

An attractive remuneration package including bonuses will be negotiated, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
