**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a highly organised and customer-focused FEM (Fire Equipment Maintenance) Support Officer to join our dedicated team.

The FEM team plays a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and servicing of portable fire protection equipment for communities across Victoria. As the FEM Support Officer, you will be a key point of contact for our CFA Volunteer Servicing Brigades and FEM customers, providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to help maintain safety standards across the state.

Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

- Deliver high-quality customer service and respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from CFA Brigades and FEM customers.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, records management, and maintenance of databases and systems such as AccPac.
- Prepare and manage documentation accurately, including letters, reports, service certificates, and customer agreements.
- Perform basic financial tasks such as EFT transactions, bank reconciliations, and payment processing in line with CFA standards.
- Carry out general office duties including mail handling, printing, copying, filing, and maintaining office supply inventory.
- Work collaboratively and effectively within the FEM team and undertake other duties as required.

- Relevant administration skills and experience with sound data entry and word processing skills.
- Excellent computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work within a team, work proactively, with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly in a multi-skill office environment.
- Ability to relate to a volunteer network.
