Copywriter

Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products.

**Responsibilities**
- Research industry-related topics
- Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
- Provide tasteful visual aids where necessary
- Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products
- Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
- Write script for video demonstration or promotion
- Select appropriate venues for filming
- Perform in video demonstrating features of products
- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (eg. comments and shares)
- Measure web traffic to content
- Update our websites as needed
- Work with inhouse product developer and designer to build marketing projects and campaigns of new designs and products for launches and promotions.

**Requirements and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, graphic design or other relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Social media experience including planning and content management
- Experience with photo-editing tools (eg. Photoshop)
- Experienced in creating content strategy and creation
- Ability to create clear briefing documents for collaborators, partners and influencers.
- Ability to visually communicate or illustrate complex sections of content brief would be preferred.
- Experience with professional photography
- Technical and non-technical drawing skills
- Portfolio of published articles
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Time-management skills
- Willingness to work closely with animals
- Advanced skills in Google workspace including sheet, doc and powerpoint
- Intermediate photo and video editing skills
- Advanced Adobe Suite Skills

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
