**The Role**:
The role is responsible for assisting in developing, planning and directing in-plant quality assurance programs to ensure that raw materials and finished products conform to ARYZTA quality specifications, standards, and legislative compliance and customer expectations. The role is a graduate level opportunity.
**Key Accountabilities**:
**Quality Assurance**:
- Assures in-plant quality assurance programs from raw materials to finished products conform to ARYZTA quality specifications, standards and customer expectations.
- Maintains comprehensive Quality Assurance manual which includes current technical data and applicable company standards and policies. Ensures that all procedures are implemented and complied with.
- Assures all current and developing products meet quality specifications and standards. Communicates with key stakeholders to improve Quality where needed.
- Drives Food Safety and Quality culture through engagement and initiatives with the wider team.
- Conducts product shelf-life, environmental and product testing on an ongoing as needed basis and records and distributes all test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- ** **Statistical Process Control; develops, implements and trains staff on ‘on-line - real time’ systems, reviews data and makes recommendations to optimize products or processes.
- Conducts complaint and internal non-conformance investigations.
- Provides ongoing training and development of all employees concerning product quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Raises supplier non-conformances and communicates directly with the supplier to follow up non-conformance report information/close out.
- Acts on behalf of Quality Assurance Manager in their absence and supports them in planning, directing and coordinating the food safety, quality and legal compliance as well as people safety programs and initiatives.

**Critical Competencies**:
- Maintain strong working relationships across departments while ensuring Food Safety and Quality goals are met.
- Experience of working successfully with a Quality Management System.
- IT skills - MS Office Package and Databases.
- Good time management and organisational abilities.
- Experience of successfully managing complaints e.g. analysis, investigation, report writing.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence others appropriately and keeping Management and relevant parties up to date whilst seeking advice and assistance when required.
- Fixed working days: Sunday to Thursday.
