Plan, conduct and monitor horse training programs based on individual temperament and purpose (e.g. racing, show, breeding).
- Observe horses' behaviour and physical condition to identify health or training needs.
- Ride, exercise, and handle horses to improve fitness, discipline and responsiveness.
- Prepare horses for events, races, shows or work-related tasks.
- Instruct handlers and riders in techniques and routines to maintain training outcomes.
- Maintain horse health records, feeding schedules, and grooming routines.
- Oversee stable operations, including feeding, watering, saddling, and unsaddling horses.
- Liaise with veterinarians, farriers and other specialists to ensure horse well-being.
Pay: $76,515.00 - $76,600.00 per year

Application Question(s):
- Proven experience as a Horse Trainer in a racing, equestrian, breeding or work-horse environment.
- Deep knowledge of horse behaviour, care and training methods.
- Physical fitness and confidence in handling horses of varying temperaments.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.

**Experience**:
- Equine: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Formal qualifications in equine studies or related field (required)
