Provide administrative and analytical support to Contract Managers

This Public Sector Department are responsible for insuring Government assets and providing coverage for significant events across SA.

**Your new role**

The Grants and Contract Officer will be responsible for managing the cycle of grants and contract assessments including but not limited to:

- Developing an understanding of funding criteria
- Uploading grant documentation to systems
- Assisting with financial due diligence (running entity searches)
- Preparing meeting minutes and reports
- Making succinct judgement calls and articulating them clearly in writing

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you must be immediately available and have/be willing to obtain an up-to-date National Police Clearance. In addition, you will meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated skills in grants or contract management (preferred)
- Ability to understand scope being assessed and making clear judgement calls
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate decisions clearly, both written and verbally
- Problem solving abilities in a defined criteria
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel

**What you'll get in return**

A competitive hourly rate + 11% superannuation will be offered initially for 6 months. In addition to working with a supportive team with training provided, you will have the guidance of a dedicated Recruitment Consultant throughout your assignment.
