Southern Cross Care (Qld) is a rapidly growing and developing, highly respected not-for-profit organisation, which provides Residential Aged Care, Community Care and Retirement Living services across Queensland.

We have an exciting opportunity for
**You** to join our Community Services Team on the Sunshine Coast as a
**Support Worker**
**, **assisting our Aged Care Clients who live in the community in the
**Noosa/Cooroy Area**.

As a
**Support Worker,** you will work closely with our Care Coordinators and within a Customer Directed Care (CDC) environment to provide care that is focused on individual needs and
- allows our clients to live their best lives_

- Competitive pay rates **($26.57 -$27.43)** depending on qualifications and experience
- For casual roles 25% loading applies to base rate
- 10.5% superannuation
- Progression from casual to permanent roles available

**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent (preferred)
- A current QLD Drivers Licence
- Exceptional people & interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Own car to use for work with full comprehensive car insurance and current registration (documents showing currency required)
- All up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations
