**SIL Support workers - Ivanhoe**
- Cosy Home Care is an NDIS provider that is committed to delivering high quality care to people in their homes with support services tailored to their individual needs._

**Job Requirements**:

- Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above
- Cert III in Personal Care (must)
- Cert IV in Mental Health (Highly regarded)
- Must be LGBTQ Friendly
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012
- CPR Certificate HLTAID009
- P2 or Full Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Comprehensively insured car (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Experience working in SIL house (must)
- Experience supporting young adults in the LGBTQ community (Highly regarded)
- Experience Complex Clients with behavioural issues
- Ability to learn new skills with the client

**Other certifications**:

- Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Medication Certificate (highly desirable)
- Basic Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with Infection Control & Waste Management

**Schedule**:
Ongoing shift, 24/7 shift

Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Sleepover

**COVID-19**: COVID-19 vaccination

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.33 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
COVID-19 Vaccination with booster shot

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS worker screening ID (required)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (required)
- minimum Cert III in Personal Care (required)
- Certificate in Mental Health (preferred)
