Job Description

**Forklift Operator - Night Shift Only**

We are looking for a **reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator** to join our **Further Processing Plant** team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials efficiently and safely, ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that keeps Australia’s favourite poultry products moving

**Please note: This is a Night Shift position only.**

**Daily Tasks**:

- Operating a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products within the plant
- Loading and unloading trucks and storage areas safely and efficiently
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining accurate records of stock movement
- Adhering to all workplace safety and hygiene standards
- Processing and inspecting raw materials safely and systematically, according to quality specifications
- Performing manual handling tasks (lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching)
- Cleaning duties and maintaining a clean workspace
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools
- Working in a cold environment
- Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks
- Participating in safety initiatives and following safety protocols
- Being an active, committed, and reliable team member

**You Will Bring to This Role**:

- A **current and valid forklift licence (LF/LO)**
- Proven experience in forklift operation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Basic computer or paperwork skills
- A proactive attitude and team-first mentality
- Willingness to work in cold conditions and perform manual tasks
