We are currently looking for part-time & casual staff to join our team at our prestigious venues located at Caulfield Racecourse, Sandown Racecourse and Mornington Racecourse.

**Duties Required**:

- Use of commercial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Cleaning of kitchen machines and equipment daily
- Performing opening and closing duties
- Exchanging bins and engaging in waste management
- Adhere to all cleaning and sanitisation methodologies, procedures and policies
- Aid chefs and kitchen prep hands as needed especially during peak times
- Clean up spills and glassware immediately
- Report any hygiene or maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor
- Unloading, storing and rotating stock
- Transporting of dishes, trays, cutlery throughout venue

**Shifts available**:

- Shifts will vary from Monday - Sunday between the hours of 07:00-20:00, majority of shifts will be 08:00-16:00 with events in the evenings/weekends.

**Pay rate**:

- Monday - Friday 06:00-18:00 $28.45
- Monday-Friday Morning/Evening Shift Before 06:00 and after 18:00 $31.86
- Saturday $39.83
- Sunday $51.21
- Experience in a busy kitchen is preferred and a passion for cleanliness standards. Ongoing training will be provided.
- Be able to work well under pressure on your own as well as in a team
- A strong work ethic and high level of motivation
- Available to start immediately.
- High personal presentation, good verbal and written communication skills.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Current police check is essential.

Quayclean adopt a direct employment model with remuneration aligned with the modern Cleaning Services Award 2020. We do not engage staff under individual ABNs or subcontract arrangements.
