**About the role**

Diesel Mechanic
- Workshop and field service, based in Arana Hills.

Looking for suitable person to work with heavy machinery, field service, agricultural & piling equipment for immediate start.

Experience in rebuild, repair and maintenance work on construction equipment, including; backhoes, excavators, skid steers, trucks and a variety of ancillary equipment. Experience on piling equipment a benefit.

You must be able to work to deadlines, often in an unsupervised work environment, with close attention to detail and quality assurance.

**Experience needed**:
Trade Qualifications - Cert III Heavy Diesel / Diesel fitter / Plant

Previous experience with Diesel / Hydraulic construction equipment

Must be able to read and comprehend service and repair manuals

Technically proficient and skilled in fault finding and troubleshooting in electrical and hydraulic systems.

Must have manual car licence.

Must have Construction Induction card.

Licence to Perform High High Risk Work a benefit.

HR licence a benefit.

Permanent position offered after three months probation.
