The Gidley is searching for a bartender to join the team. Located in Sydney’s CBD on the corner of King and Elizabeth streets, the venue offers one of Sydney’s most unique fit outs, including the lounge “bar without a bar” that ironically won Best Restaurant Bar at the Australian Bartender Magazine Awards.

**About the Role**:
If you are as much of a host as a bartender with a penchant to own a room and deliver memorable guest experiences, The Gidley is for you.

**Applicants Must Demonstrate**:

- Professionalism befitting of Australia’s most reputable bars.
- A jovial spirit that people remember and want to return for.
- Someone who is far from formal, but not quite colloquial.
- Not afraid to challenge the current conceptions around what restaurant bars should be and the style of service we offer.
- Generous hospitality - we aim to give people a rich experience worth remembering.
- Our tongue-in-cheek tone is part of our DNA. We just ensure it’s never crass or tacky.

**Essential Requirements of Employment Include**:

- A minimum of three years working in hospitality
- A minimum of two years of experience working in a high volume cocktail bar
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
