The position is responsible for the entire operations of our store on our front-end shop along with online retail channel, this includes a diverse portfolio of functions within our store including customer service, inventory management, stakeholder communication, finances, People and culture, organises and controls the operations.
- This position will be directly reporting to the Franchisee and the job description includes but is not limited to_
- Maintain effective day-to-day store operations and determine the level of stock for smooth sales and service standards.
- Drive increasing sales, through add-on sales and by providing input and ideas on how to continuously build sales.
- Oversees and coordinates department marketing activities, including advertising and sales promotion, public relations, visual merchandising, and/or special marketing events, as appropriate.
- Prepares purchase requisitions, and related paperwork including annual budgets and accounts payable; monitors expenditures and revenue; makes periodic scheduled and ad hoc reports of store activity.
- Proactively plan and direct outstanding customer service and sustain sound client relations.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers with confidence and promote the sale of products.
- Develop, motivate, inspire and support your team
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Responsible for overseeing and recording the shop accounts, banking and cash handling that is driven by sales and ensuring enough cash available at the point of sale and in the shop to efficiently run all transactions.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
**About the applicant**:
- At least a diploma or higher qualification in business or management.
- At least 1 year of retail management experience
- Hands-on team leadership or senior team role experience
- A track record of coaching and developing team members
- Excellent customer service and team management skills
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational abilities
- A proactive and positive mindset that motivates others
