Goulburn, Australia Flexiforce Full time

The team at Flexiforce are seeking an OHSE officer for a proudly Australian-owned business leading the way in the prefabricated and preformed formwork industry.

The company’s mission is driven by a clear purpose: to help customers build faster, smarter, and safer.

From concept to creation, all of the organisation’s manufactured goods are designed and assembled within this local Australian factory, in Goulburn, NSW.

Today, all of the company’s products and prefabricated formwork systems feature in over 4,000 buildings — including some of Australia’s most iconic landmarks — and are making their mark internationally, as well.

**About the Role**

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on **OHSE Officer** to manage all safety, health, and environmental processes across our Goulburn operations.
This is a permanent, full-time position suited to someone sensible, who will be responsible for overseeing all compliance and safety systems on site, educating and guiding the workforce toward a safer workplace.
You’ll be the go-to for all WHS-related matters — from toolbox talks to audits — ensuring that we meet and exceed legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures across the factory and site operations
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, codes of practice, and company protocols
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks
- Coordinate Return to Work and injury management processes
- Maintain and update all OHSE documentation including SWMS, risk registers, and incident reports
- Provide advice and practical support to supervisors and staff to improve safety behaviours
- Report on OHSE performance metrics to management and regulatory bodies

**About You**

You will bring a strong underpinning knowledge of WHS practices, legislation, and compliance systems, along with practical experience working in safety within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
This role requires a proactive, approachable individual who leads by example.

Key requirements include:

- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
- Solid understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competency in using safety management systems and reporting tools
- Ability to engage with all levels of staff and promote a positive safety culture

**What We Offer You**
- A meaningful opportunity to shape and lead safety culture in a growing business
- Supportive team and strong commitment to workplace wellbeing
- Competitive salary | Base + Super + Bonuses
- Continuous professional development and training
- Company Vehicle
- Daily breakfast for early starters
- Lunch provided daily
- Early finish Fridays

If you’re ready to make safety your mission - and ours - we’d love to hear from you immediately.
