**About JINNING**

Jinning Laboratory provides analytical services for geochemistry and hard rock mining industries including gold, base metal and wet chemical analysis. Our highly experienced and qualified team operate laboratories in Perth and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

**About YOU**

We’re looking for:

- Previous experience in a Geochem fire assay laboratory
- Numerical and literacy skills (understanding of number sequences)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures/instructions
- Team focussed with a positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, high-temperature environment

**About the ROLE**

You will perform routine fire assay of Geochem samples including:

- fluxing, mixing and loading of fusion furnace
- pouring, removal of slag, preparation of buttons and loading and unloading of muffle furnace
- Taking prills in preparation for analysis
- Following work instructions and procedures according to the Jinning quality management system
- Maintaining records of fire assay log sheets
- Strict adherence to Jinning health and safety protocols

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
