The Student Counselling Team supports students at The Gordon to stay engaged in their education by providing short-term personal counselling and referrals for ongoing support. Working closely with the Student Support team, teaching staff, management, and external stakeholders, the role focuses on meeting students' individual needs.

The Student Counsellor engages with students through face-to-face, phone, or video contact and liaises with external service providers to ensure positive outcomes. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals are essential. Additionally, the role includes delivering presentations at information sessions and collaborating with external networks to support student wellbeing effectively.
