Norma’s is best-in-class when it comes to a Deli concept, as the pre-prepped food cabinet sits alongside the live kitchen, bakery and bar. The onsite sourdough bakery will operate alongside a rotisserie, with fine deli meats being cut on order. The Deli operates from morning to night, offering the Manly locals and visitors a reliable option when it comes to any food and drink occasion. Whether you are visiting for the first time or a frequent patron, Norma’s will become synonymous with the overall beachside experience.

**About the Opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced Head Barista to run our coffee program at Norma’s. The right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong work ethic and the ability to lead a barista team to deliver the ultimate customer experience.

**About the role**
- Developing and leading a team of baristas
- Managing the coffee program including liaising with suppliers, implementing customer feedback and maintaining service standards and communication
- Delivering an outstanding hospitality experience with both barista craftsmanship and customer engagement
- A customer-focused approach to specialty coffee
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a barista in specialty coffee
- Strong experience developing and managing a team to deliver high-quality, consistent specialty coffee
- Experience working on a variety of different machines and different brewing styles
- A strong understanding of extraction profiling and implementing recipes
- Excellent latte art and the ability to train others
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communication
- Availability to work a variety of weekdays and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
