**Your future team**

We are looking for a Research Manager to lead our strategic research programs. In this role, you will report into a Senior Research Manager and join an organization consisting of multiple teams across North America and Australia. You'll lead a team of qualitative and quantitative researchers all aiming to deliver a better time to value for our customers. You will partner with other teams within Research & Insights and multiple teams across the company. Together you will drive efficient, insights informed decision-making, identifying critical opportunities for improving the customer experience._ _Joining this team means you will contribute to expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users

**Responsibilities**:
**What You'll Do**:

- Manage a strategic research practice, balancing speed and quality of research execution
- Partner with product managers, design, data science, brand, engineering and other teams to define the research strategy
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of qualitative and quantitative researchers
- Provide research thought leadership and help develop our research practices across Atlassian.

Qualifications:
**Your background**:

- You will have 8+ years of experience in Research, including leading Research strategy in complex or enterprise-level software environments
- You will have 2+ years of experience managing research teams of 4 or more
- You will have prior demonstrated experience in research program design, experimentation, data management, data analysis, and insights generation.
- You will have proficiency in data management, data analysis, and insights generation. We will look for engaging techniques for sharing research recommendations and the ability to bring teams along on the research journey.
- You have proven experience influencing business strategy and driving change across organizational boundaries through clear and compelling communication of research-driven insights and analyses
- You will have experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior business leaders.
