**Delivery Driver - MWC Trade Supplies**

The Delivery Driver role is a primary point of contact with our customers and reflects our values.

To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite and friendly with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent service. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled and committed to work safety. You will need to be flexible in your approach as the delivery schedule changes throughout the day depending on customer needs.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Preparing and completing orders for delivery
- Loading, transporting and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely manner
- Picking up, receiving and warehousing stock
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and dealing with enquiries
- Operating and maintaining vehicles
- Abiding by all road rules and maintaining a safe driving record
- Maintaining the warehouse in a safe and tidy manner
- Other driving and warehousing duties as required

**Requirements of the role include**:

- Current open ‘MR’ class driver licence with a good driving history
- Confident in operating a large, manual, commercial van and a medium sized flatbed truck
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills with a positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Flexible
- Honest and reliable
- Friendly and helpful
- A team player

**Experience required**

Previous driver delivery experience in the construction industry an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- MR Driver Licence (required)
