As the Manager of Retail & Events at RSL Narrabeen, you will be responsible for overseeing our café/retail operations and coordinating various events. With a large team of approximately 20 members, you'll set the pace for your team, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and optimizing food production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage food service operations, including waste management and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Coach and develop your team through guidance, training, and mentoring
- Effectively manage finances within budget constraints, minimizing costs while maximizing customer service levels
- Purchase and manage stock, establishing efficient supply arrangements and implementing stock control systems
- Collaborate with colleagues and customers, maintaining effective communication and working collaboratively in a team
- Manage facilities associated with commercial catering contracts and ensure specialized dietary needs are met in a healthcare environment
- Plan and coordinate catering for events and functions, from conceptualization to execution

Qualifications and Skills:

- Essential: Experience in Hospitality Management, with a focus on retail and event management
- Essential: Strong communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure
- Essential: Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Desirable: Diploma in Hospitality or related field
- Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role and proven ability to exceed customer satisfaction standards
