Casual Groundsperson

The Rockingham Golf Club is currently seeking the services of a Casual Groundsperson to join our team.
The golf course is an 18-hole course established in 1984; it is situated on the coastal sand plain amongst natural bushland with abundant native flora and fauna.
The successful applicant will work with the Course Maintenance Team, being hands-on in all areas of turf maintenance to implement our course preparation and maintenance policies and directives.
About You
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Reliable, fit and healthy
- Willing to work in all conditions. Possess the ability to work unattended and within a team environment.
- Drivers licence and own transportation essential
Responsibilities of the Position Include:
- Prepare and set up course for club competitions
- Mower, brush cutter and chainsaw operating experience is desirable
- 15-20 hrs per week, (Thursday-Sunday). Must be available minimum 3 weekend shifts per month
- Work hours are between 4:30am-1:00pm weekdays and 4:30am-9:00am weekends
- Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided
