About Allied Health at Cabrini

Allied Health at Cabrini is a dynamic and expanding service, encompassing 12 allied health professions. Our integrated team offers:
- Leadership and senior consultant roles- Clinical stream engagement and junior rotation programs- Access to ongoing professional development and teaching opportunities- Strong partnerships with universities and external organisations- An increasing focus on collaborative, multidisciplinary research, supported by a newly appointed Senior Allied Health Research Consultant

The Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 1 Social Worker to join our acute care team in a busy, large private hospital.

As a Social Worker at Cabrini, you will:
- Deliver high-quality patient care using sound clinical judgment and communication- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, and external service providers- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in partnership with patients, families, and carers- Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning and community referrals

What We’re Looking For- Strong communication, computer literacy, and documentation skills- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) - essential- Capacity to work within a performance-review and feedback framework - essential- Previous experience in a hospital setting - desirable-
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in quality improvement or research projects
