An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HSEQ Advisor, to join Service Stream in our Corporate sector, based in Epping, VIC
About the Role

Exciting opportunity for a HSEQ professional to join Service Stream’s Safety Team, supporting our company to meet its Safety, Environment, Quality, and client obligations. The immediate role is to support the construction and commissioning of a Gisborne Water Treatment Plant and other Southern Infrastructure ware projects.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Epping, VIC

Reporting Line: National HSEQ Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing specialist HSEQ support for the safe delivery of works
- Liaising with other HSEQ professionals from within the business, clients, subcontractors and delivery partners
- Coaching and supporting management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties
- Supporting management and workers in the implementation of HSEQ policies, systems, programs, and initiatives
- Promoting a safe and positive work culture and role model safety leadership principles including supporting site safety meetings
- Conduct project field safety walks, inspections and investigations
- Assist with the provision of HSEQ material for pre-start meetings, toolboxes, and any external inspection / audit requirements
- Management and review of associated HSEQ plans for the delivery of works and management of site
- Management of sub-contractor on-boarding processes and reviews
- Support to management and monitoring of worker training skills and records

About You
- Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ role with a strong quality background, highly regarded, experience in civil or construction environments
- Working knowledge of Legislation, Standards and Codes and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS 4801 standards
- Experience in conducting incident investigations
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Experience with subcontractor management
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
