We are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional "YES WE CAN" customer service offering and quality product in the highly competitive market. **About the Role** Due to growth in our business, we are seeking a full time Logistics Supervisor to join our Brisbane Operations team. **Key responsibilities and duties**: - Assist to create a smooth daily schedule, in order for the team to work together to deliver optimal results and total customer service. This involves being responsible for specific runs and drivers as well as route management planning with daily reviews to improve efficiency. - Comply with, and ensure compliance with, the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the Company Competition and Consumer Law Compliance Policy and Manual with all direct reports. - Effective and efficient management of all drivers and yard staff. - Ensure all deliveries are completed every day. - Ensure induction and safety training of all new employees occur in line with Supagas Induction & safety training. - Ensure prestart checks are completed on every vehicle every day and that this process is regularly audited. - Assist in the reduction of vehicle incidents. - Maintain adequate LPG stock levels within the yard to load on all trucks. - Effective and efficient stock takes performed on the last day of each month and as required. - Assist the Branch Manager in delivery cost control and reporting on delivery costs against budge **Skills & Experience** - Minimum 5 years’ experience as Logistics Supervisor or similar. - A valid forklift licence, an advantage - Previous gas industry experience advantageous but not essential. - Intermediate level of computer skills is essential (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook). - Proven leadership skills. - Outstanding customer service and drive to promote continual improvement. - Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a safe working environment. - Highly motivated with a flexible “can do” attitude. - A Demerit Points Statement - A current National Police Check with regular renewals as required **Benefits** - Detailed initial training - Continual ongoing support and coaching provided - Significant future career opportunities - Rewards & Recognition program - Competitive Salary Package - Work for an Essential Service for financial security Most importantly at Supagas we value attitude above all else.
