**The Role**
Our client seeks an experienced dynamic Electrical Field Service Technician with an electrical trade certificate (with supervisors’ licence). Knowledge and experience in the design, commissioning, and servicing of oil and gas-fired combustion systems including boilers, combustors, oxidizers, and fired heaters, are highly desirable but not essential. This role will see you traveling to various sites around Sydney (and surrounds) in a fully maintained company vehicle. Providing a professional project management service to your clients you will possess a personable nature and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- **Accurate reporting, to a set plan and schedule is critical**:

- **Understand, troubleshoot, and repair combustion systems**:

- **Strong skills in reading P&ID schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical circuits**:

- **Ability to identify and mitigate risk and potential hazards**:

- **Adhere to Australian Safety Standards and industry codes of compliance**:

- **Build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.**

**About You**
You will be a highly flexible, hands-on, and results-driven technician dedicated to delivering high-quality work. Your demonstrated background in the design of circuits and panel layouts, site coordination, maintaining and repairing systems, and your ability to successfully meet deadlines will see you excel in this role.
- **Electrical Trade Certificate with Supervisors’ Licence essential**:

- **Experience in the combustion engineering field is highly desirable**:

- **Post-trade training in instrumentation**:

- **Working knowledge of VSD drives and instrumentation.**:

- **Solid understanding of process controls.**:

- **Proficiency in operating proprietary burner controls, gas valves, and actuators is also highly desirable**:
