**The Opportunity**:
In this diverse role, you will provide support to a team of estimators and will oversee the estimating process for buildings damaged by insurable events.

This position reflects the benchmark in expertise, leadership, client and customer engagement and satisfaction for the Johns Lyng Group. Future opportunities for career progression within our industry leading team will also be available.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the estimating process and team of estimators for building projects
- Work with senior management to ensure all financial objectives are adhered to
- Implement construction programs
- Ensure all contract obligations are met
- Improve current construction timeframes
- Ensure compliance with all OH&S and building regulations
- Quality assurance
- Resolve any issues in construction within a timely manner
- Ensure correct documentation / information is communicated to stakeholders
- Review staff performance & provide guidance and leadership
- Prepare internal & external reports pertaining to job status

The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.
- Strong estimating background
- Ability to lead & motivate a team
- Building trade qualification highly regarded, however not essential
- Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
- Familiarity with OHS practices, legislation & regulations & current market rates
- Good work ethic & highly motivated
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
- Current and valid motor vehicle licence
