Job Responsibility:

- Inspect and grade crops to ensure compliance with grades, standards, and phytosanitary requirements

Job Duties:

- Visually inspects crops to determine grade and compliance with state and federal standards, industry contract specifications, and phytosanitary requirements.
- Inspects and samples of crops; for example, feed, seed, fertilizer, and those needed for other plant pest management projects.
- Conducts trappings, surveys, and facility inspections.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal laws applicable to products.
- Checks size of crops, amount, and seriousness of defects.
- Observes and records colour characteristics, firmness, maturity, and shape.
- Issues inspection report showing the grade and condition of the inspected crops.
- Explains, both verbally and in writing, the grading system and related standards to produce and commodity clients.
- Prepares and maintains reports, records, and forms related to the work.
- Performs related work and other tasks as assigned.

Qualification:

- AQF Diploma or Higher
- Minimum 1 years of experience in related field

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
