Construction Superintendent

**The Opportunity**

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure and Fulton Hogan are jointly recruiting for the West Region Delivery Team on the Sydney Water P4S program.

The West Region Delivery Team is a consortium of five Joint Venture delivery partners; Stantec, Atlas, Fulton Hogan, Abergeldie and Programmed working in partnership with Sydney Water. Over a 10 year period, we operate as a collaborative integrated team to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the western Sydney metropolitan area.

**You will be Responsible for**

You will be managing competent construction supervisors and teams of internal employees and subcontractors in western Sydney; collaborating with project engineers/managers, civil and pipeline construction disciplines and other project stakeholders; planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources and working to target budgets whilst leading a culture of safety and productivity across multiple projects.

**What we need from you?**

Ideally you will have experience in the Water utilities sectors with exposure to capital upgrades in Water and/or Wastewater linear assets within the civil and pipeline construction discipline (with exposure to mechanical and electrical interfaces). You will have;
- Previous experience as a Superintendent in a construction environment
- Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
- Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective supervision and teams
- Exposure to M&E and/or civil projects
- Good on-site problem solving expertise.
- A sound understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards
- Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front (both subcontractors and self-perform staff)
- Ability to provide constructability input throughout the design development process
- Ideally you will have an appropriate trade certificate (or equivalent).
