Floor Finisher

Quality Trade Group Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced floor finisher to join our dynamic team in a permanent, full-time position. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality flooring solutions for a diverse range of projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and excellence in craftsmanship.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed measurements of the spaces to be covered while consulting architectural plans to accurately estimate the quantities of flooring materials needed.
- Thoroughly preparing surfaces for new coverings, which includes carefully removing baseboard trims and ensuring the substrate is clean and level.
- Taking precise measurements, cutting underlay materials to size, and securely installing them to provide a stable foundation for the final floor covering.
- Expertly install a range of floor coverings—including carpets, linoleum, parquet blocks, cork tiles, and other resilient materials—while skillfully matching patterns, shaping around fixtures, and trimming edges for a polished finish.
- Ensuring floor coverings are securely laid and expertly fitting edge trims in doorways to create a seamless transition between spaces.
- Polish concrete floors, resulting in a sleek, modern finish that is both functional and attractive.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in flooring installation or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workplace.
