**About the opportunity**:
Himalayanvilla is currently looking for committed, caring and professional individuals to join our Supported Living Team in **campsie and Burwood and blefiled NSW area** on a Casual basis. A variety of shifts is available and would suit those living in the local area.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence whilst providing support where needed;
- Supporting customers with daily living including personal hygiene (showering, oral care, shaving) medication administration, attending appointments, transport, engaging in activities of their choice at home and in the community and following their individual plans to help best support each person;
- Engaging with customers in a positive manner to help brighten their day and assist them with any challenges they may be facing;
- Undertaking various household tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping and helping the customers keep their house a home.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience supporting customers with Dementia, challenging behaviors, epilepsy, mental health challenges, and complex medical needs;
- A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers;
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support each person as per their individual needs and care plans;
- Proficient report writing with the ability to complete accurate shift notes and objective incident reporting as required.
- Flexibility to work casual shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster - including morning, afternoon and active night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts;
- NSW Police Check
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
