Tuckshop Convenor

**The Burpengary Meadows State School P&C Association are looking for a motivated and positive person to join our team in the position of Tuckshop Convenor. This is an exciting opportunity to help provide quality service and food to the school community.**
- Operation and management of the Tuckshop including opening and closing procedures in accordance with the policies and direction determined by the P&C
- Stock ordering and control, including stock level maintenance and stocktakes.
- Strong cooking and food preparation background. Preparing food according to healthy food guidelines, in particular Queensland Government ‘Smart Choices’
- Time management skills, food preparation in large quantities, ability to manage priorities and problem solve
- Understand money handling, EFTPOS facilities and ability to learn our online ordering system
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently, foster an inclusive and positive working environment
- High level of communication, to direct the team, manage school staff enquiries and establish good rapport with students
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Engage with, assist and train volunteers
- Drive to continuously improve the tuckshop service, working with volunteers, P&C staff, executive and school administration.

The BMSS Tuckshop operating hours are 7.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday Queensland public school days only, serving our school community Brain Break, First Break & Second break daily.
