About the role

Reporting directly through to the Senior Manager of Pricing, no day will be the same and you’ll never be bored.

The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for providing decision support to the various layers of management along with achieving the overall financial and operational targets for assigned business units. As the Senior Pricing Analyst, your ability to provide solutions-based pricing to support regional opportunities in QLD in the mining/resource sector will have you stand out from the crowd along with your knowledge of maintaining pricing governance and structure to ensure the accuracy of pricing for new opportunities.

As the Senior Pricing Analyst, you will have the ability to see the big picture, be results orientated and tough minded and you will lead by example. Your attention to detail, passion and strong communication, operation and stakeholder management skills will hold you in high regard.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Detailed customer pricing, supporting tender submissions and requests for work in QLD market- Management of pricing submissions in accordance with authority matrix- Working with internal stakeholders as part of solutions-based focus to pricing- Maintenance of customer pricing model including updating cost increases and rates and management of enhancements/alternations as required- Closely work with the commercial team to understand implication of changes in business activities on cost base and reflect impact in pricing model- Maintaining a solid understanding of business operations and actively support the National, State and Branch managers in decision making- Providing ongoing support on analysing customer profitability, ensuring services meet required operating margins and work is being carried out within agreed scope- Ensuring that strong financial controls are in place and are followed throughout the Business- Maintaining compliance with TGE policies, processes and procedures relating to all administrative, finance and commercial functions- Provide pricing support and leadership for other states within PE as required
