This 2-year, rewarding opportunity will provide you with paid practical experience, all whilst you study towards a nationally accredited **Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations**.

**Your Host Employer**:
Bidfood are a national, leading food and packaging distributor. Their mission is to provide a fully comprehensive range to inspire others to create and invent, whilst ensuring that all deliveries are reliable to facilitate this. With over 20 years of experience and growth they are looking to add another team member to their Girraween branch.

**The Role**:
As a Warehouse Store Person Trainee, you will be responsible for ensuring prompt and efficient dispatching of all inwards and outwards goods, to and from Bidfood clients and suppliers.

**Duties Include**:

- Pick and pack of goods
- Liaise with customers and suppliers
- Check and receipt deliveries against orders
- Load and unload trucks
- Product labelling and identification
- Assist with inventory checks and stocktakes
- Use of industry software, machinery, and equipment

**About You**:

- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Motivated with a can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills

**Role Requirements**:

- MR truck licence (desirable)
- Forklift licence (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to comfortably work in freezer/chiller areas
- Physically fit to undertake heavy lifting
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment
