**Introduction**:
6 Month Maternity Cover Full Time position - Hours 8.00am to 4.00pm Weekdays

Our purpose is to enrich the lives of people living independently in their own homes through connection to services and community.

About ECHO

ECHO Community Services is a registered charity providing care to the elderly and people living with disability to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.

We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package and NDIS clients and 5 days per week for CHSP.

Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same support worker which means that you know the person who is coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support worker providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person’s dignity and well-being. You know and can trust the person attending. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.

**Description**:
**Your Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Roster staff to match client needs for Home Care & NDIS services
- Processing service assignments to agreed timeframes.
- Generating service assignments and communicating with the support team
- Liaise with other departments to ensure timely assignment of services to clients
- Participate in the 'On Call' weekends and after hours roster

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience in scheduling in Community Care
- Ability to manage challenging conversations with clients
- Team player with ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Flexible and agile, manages time effectively
- Ability to set priorities to meet the demands of the job
- Abstract thinking and problem solving skills.
- Above average interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel.
- Police Clearance / NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination

It would be a distinct advantage if you have experience in working with the elderly or experience with client management systems in community aged care. If you have experience in both, that would be even better.

The successful applicant will be required to provide or obtain a current police clearance.
