Delivery Driver

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Delivery Operations**:

- Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers within designated routes and schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles, including regular inspections and reporting of any issues or concerns.

**2. Time Management**:

- Make deliveries promptly and efficiently within the specified time frame (6am-9am) at least 6 days a week.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize travel time.
- Adapt to changes in schedules or routes as needed to accommodate customer needs or unforeseen circumstances.

**3. Customer Service**:

- Provide courteous and professional service to customers during delivery interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and respectful manner.
- Represent the company positively and uphold its reputation for reliability and quality service.

**4. Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery manifests, and customer signatures.
- Ensure proper documentation of any discrepancies, damages, or incidents that occur during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and other relevant personnel regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during the delivery process.

**5. Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating company vehicles.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during deliveries.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and maintain awareness of best practices for safe driving and delivery operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Victorian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as required.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads as needed.

Expected hours: 18 per week

- Morning shift

- Rotating roster
