**The Opportunity**
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our **Salisbury** team as a **Demand Planner**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands. The option to be based in Marsden Park (Western Sydney) NSW or Clayton South (Melbourne) VIC is also available.
Working within a small and supportive team, you’ll provide accurate demand forecasts for the business to support our operational and financial planning. You’ll work closely and build relationships with our dedicated sales and operations planning teams ensuring our initiatives are solutions focused aligning to relevant customer demands.

**What Will You Do?**
If you have exceptional attention to detail and have an analytical mindset, you will:
- identify short, medium and long term trends including external market influences, sales and pricing movements that may impact demand
- turn information from our valued sales and operation planning teams to support our strategic imperatives in optimising sales and inventory outcomes
- manage our forecasting process across our branches
- provide ongoing improvement to forecast accuracy for our assigned product groups through thorough analysis and data that will improve operational and financial outcomes
**More About You**
As a creative problem-solver with a passion for high level service delivery, you will bring:
- previous experience in demand planning and forecasting management
- effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration with departments and teams
- ability to optimise and improve key business outcomes across all points of business cycles
- knowledge and experience of MS Office and SAP or a similar ERP system
- a positive attitude and willingness to work within the team
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
