We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Fostering Futures team. The Case Manager - Fostering Futures plays a crucial role in providing support and guidance to children and young people across the Macarthur area who live with foster cares in short-term, long-term or respite foster care placements. This is a dynamic and exciting role promoting safety, permanency and well-being of children and young people in the community.

This is a permanent full time position based in the Macarthur area, working 38 hours per week.

**Our requirements to provide care**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare, Behavioural or Social Sciences or other relevant discipline.
- Sound knowledge of child and adolescent development, parenting practices, effects of family violence, trauma, abuse and neglect.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of child protection and out of home care policy, legislation and standards.
- Previous experience in providing high quality advocacy, support and case management services for clients with a focus on out of home care and permanency pathways.
- Knowledge, skills and experience conducting psycho-social assessments of client needs and developing and achieving care plan goals.
- Demonstrated experience working with marginalised individuals and families with complex needs and the ability to relate to people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- A current First Aid certificate
- Employees are required to have received 2 doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine; or has been issued with a Medical Contraindication Certificate on the prescribed NSW Health form, exempting from vaccination
