Cam Can is an Organisation which provides individualised, innovative and flexible support arrangements for people with disability so they can pursue a lifestyle of their choice in the community.
We are seeking Support Workers to join our team and support an independent woman in her 30’s who is living in her own home in Waikiki. Support involves assistance with community access, attending appointments, and all activities of daily living
The right worker will be punctual, kind, organised, reliable and possess well developed t written and verbal communication skills.
Mentoring will be provided until you are comfortable providing one to one support.
In return you will receive an attractive rate of pay including superannuation, salary sacrificing, travel compensation, and the knowledge that you are making a positive difference to someone’s life. You will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities.
You will require a current NDIS worker screening certificate, Driver License, your own reliable vehicle and eligibility to work in Australia.
The woman requires support 24 hours per day, 7 days each week. Hours of support are:
DAY 8am-6pm
NIGHT 6pm-8am (the next morning)
Vacancies:
- Monday OVERNIGHT 6pm - 8am (the next morning)
- Wednesday OVERNIGHT 6pm - 8am (the next morning)
- Back up support for the schedule to cover sickness, leave etc
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour
