**Position description**:
**We seek an enthusiastic **Health Professional** to join our Blood Bank laboratory within the **Haematology department** in** Macquarie Park.** You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Overseeing the quality and integrity of the blood samples processed in the laboratory
- Providing specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure quality compliance and standards meet regulatory framework

We are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment, and full training will be provided. We are looking for the following:

- Graduated with a Medical Science Degree or recognised AIMS equivalent.
- Experience working in a haematology/blood bank will be highly regarded
- Open to working rostered full time hours on a fully rotational roster covering the day and evening shifts.
- Highly knowledgeable in quality control techniques
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic

Competitive hourly pay with attractive loading.
