Medication Trainer

**Primary Purpose of Position**:To provide high-quality training, assessment, and support services to students pursuing several nationally recognized units of competency and non-accredited short courses.

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- To deliver training, assessment, and support to students completing several nationally recognized units of competency including, but not limited to:

- ** HLTHPS006 **Assist Clients with Medication,
- ** HLTINF001 **Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
- ** HLTINFCOV001 **Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
- ** HLTAID004 **Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
- **HLTAID009 **Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation,
- ** HLTAID010 **Provides basic emergency life support
- ** HLTAID011 **Provide First Aid and
- ** HLTAID012 **Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- Facilitate student learning and accommodate different learning styles.
- Conduct evaluations and assess, mark, and record outcomes face-to-face, online, and via other avenues as required. 5. Provide constructive feedback on student’s assessments.
- Compellingly engage students while delivering training.
- Counsel students on their academic progress.
- Report outcome of test results to individual students within agreed timeframes.
- Validate and moderate training and assessment resources.
- Maintain accurate records as required and provide accurate and timely reporting in our Learning Management System, Student Management System, and Customer Relationship Management System.

**Skills/Experience**
- Knowledge of the VET Quality Framework
- Understanding of the Community Services Training Package, in particular, the qualification description of the units of competency being delivered
- 2 yrs + recent and relevant industry experience
- An understanding of the barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged clients
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build rapport with and motivate students
- IT knowledge and experience using databases
