**Responsibilities**:
1. Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, maintaining a clear field of vision, and anticipating their needs.
2. Preparing treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies.
3. Sterilizing instruments and equipment following established protocols.
4. Taking and developing dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist.
5. Providing patient care and support during dental procedures, including comforting anxious patients and answering their questions.
6. Recording patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
7. Instructing patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
8. Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and managing patient records.
9. Maintaining compliance with infection control.
**Requirements**:
1. Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
2. X-ray certification and knowledge of dental radiography techniques.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
7. Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records systems is a plus.
8. CPR certification may be required.
9. Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
