The Allied Health team at North West Private Hospital is growing and we are looking to recruit an Allied Health Assistant to support the opening of our new 20 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in February 2025.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the guidance and direction of our supportive allied health professionals in assisting with patient treatments, administrative tasks and the maintenance of department equipment.

**Your Skills and Experiences**

This role will suit an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who thrives on working within a team. The ability to communicate effectively with clients / colleagues and a positive, enthusiastic approach to your work will be key to your success in this role.
- You will also bring:_
- Recent, relevant experience in a hospital/rehabilitation environment and Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance will be highly desirable
- A positive and flexible approach to work in a developing service
- A desire to care and help a wide range of patient groups
- Provide a quality customer focused service
- Availability to work on some weekends and public holidays

**Remuneration**

A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 - $29.25 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications (QLD Support Services Level 1.1-1.5).

**Requirements**:

- _Must _provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
