**About the Role**

You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprises team providing opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed alongside other skilled team members, to produce high-quality products and services for our commercial customers.

The focus of the role will be to support the Manufacturing Supervisors, Team Leaders and their teams, to drive efficiencies and minimise production down time, thus, supporting Aruma’s Purpose and Values to enhance the lives of people with a disability, and achieve agreed operational and financial goals.

**Key Duties**
- Ensure Supervisors and Team Leaders are supported to effectively manage their teams, ensuring a safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment
- Provides coaching and feedback to team members, working collaboratively to develop a culture committed to quality and outstanding customer service across the Manufacturing business
- Facilitate continuous improvement and quality customer outcomes, recommending to the Production Manager, Manufacturing changes to resourcing and equipment to support the strategic and operational goals
- Ensure compliance with procedures and guidelines specific to the Business operations to meet legislative and regulatory requirements
- Use appropriate IT systems to report incidents or feedback, as well as document and action administration tasks and production reports
- Schedule jobs and ensures all stores, production and equipment is available and operational
- Facilitate a high-quality service for business customers and provides effective liaison/ communication with these customers and other internal stakeholders

**Skills and qualifications**
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the demonstrated ability to meet challenging deadlines and juggle competing priorities
- Sound business acumen with the ability to read, interpret and analyse business data, particularly in a production facility context
- Sound verbal and written communication, with effective listening and negotiation skills
- Sound conflict resolution and collaboration skills, with the demonstrated ability to use internal and external networks to resolve issues
- Sound numeracy and computer skills, particularly MS Office; including the capacity to learn new IT systems
- Trade qualification/ Certification or relevant experience in Mechanics, Carpentry, Welding, Metal fabrication or other relevant production environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation, quality assurance systems and production management
- Current Driver’s licence
- A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma’s Code of Conduct
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1 & 2 + booster)
