**The Role**:
Based at our Head Office in Kilsyth, the role of Supervisor is responsible for navigating, directing and supporting the day-to-day operations of our 20+ Fitting Kit staff who are responsible for picking, packing, boxing and assembling fitting kits for our range of 4X4 auto accessories.
**Working closely with the Production Manager some of the key responsibilities include**:
- Deliver daily toolbox meetings to the team as well as attending the daily Production Meeting.
- Ensure work areas are set up prior to shift commencing.
- Take the lead role in supporting the team with driving and achieving BASF (APS) KPI’s.
- Prioritise work on the assembly lines and direct the team as and when required.
- Ensure the team completes First Offs and Last Offs in accordance with ARB’s quality procedures.
- Be the first point of contact for production issues.
- Collaborate and communicate production and other issues effectively with Team Leaders, Supervisors, Management, Engineers and other stakeholders.
- Direct, mentor, encourage, support and motivate team to inspire team work.
- Provide on-the-job training as and when required, including identifying skill gaps and providing training to address gaps.
- Hiring, counselling and performance appraisals.
- Ensure the team are adhering to ARB’s OH&S Policies and Procedures including wearing correct PPE and having the correct tools to perform their role.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in a fast-paced batch assembly, fabrication and/or packaging role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven communication, leadership, time management, conflict resolution and listening skills.
- A team mindset: recognising that the company’s success depends on effective teamwork.
- **A current LF Licence.**:
- Committed and practical approach to safety including the wellbeing of colleagues.
