At Acuity English we are currently looking for motivated and individuals to join our team of talented private tutors. We offer one-on-one tuition services at student's homes, nearby libraries or online with a focus on Year 7-12 English. We also provide small group tutoring services.

We believe in providing high quality tutoring services for students that make English simple and clear. If you have the desire make a meaningful impact and to help your students reach their full potential then this role is the perfect opportunity for you.

- You choose what work hours and students suit your schedule, location or other commitments
- We provide full admin support in finding students so you can focus on the actual lessons

- Starting pay of $40 per hour for individual tutoring sessions which increases as you gain more experience and $90 per hour for groups. Sessions are also available online

**What we are looking for individuals who**:

- Completed Year 12 Advanced English and received an HSC English mark of 87 (minimum) in Australia
- Have a passion to help and build meaningful relationships with students in order to help them achieve their full potential
- Can guide students clearly with their assessments and exams
- Have a strong educational background with excellent writing and reading skills
- Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Have excellent time-management skills and are reliable
- Teaching or tutoring experience of 1 year (exceptional track record with students)
- Strong educational background
- Can drive and have access to a car (Preferable)

**Mandatory Licences and Registrations**:

- Working with Children Check
- ABN number

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All clients and tutors must be double vaccinated and will need to prove their covid vaccination certificate.

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
