**ABOUT GENTLE MONSTER**

**We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join us for our location in David Jones, Sydney.**

**ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER**

Assists Store Manager in driving the business to achieve maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through customer service, operational excellence, leadership, and communication, while supporting the Vision of Gentle Monster. This role is predominantly on the sales floor providing service, interacting with customers and associates.

**Key accountabilities**
- Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring highly visible and effective customer service management
- Ensures store compliance with company policy and procedures, taking a consistent approach with all sales associates
- Ensures brand image is presented consistent with visual merchandising and service expectations
- Minimises loss by adhering to all loss prevention procedures, stockroom processing and replenishment procedures, and inventory management processes.
- Maintains awareness of market trends in the eyewear industry, monitoring activity of local competitors
- Maintain a high level of grooming standards as per the brand grooming standards

**Qualifications and experience**
- Experience in a high-end retail environment or related area
- Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-changing, retail environment
- Ability to develop, and motivate staff and others through strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills and software proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook preferred)
- Open availability and flexibility to work weekends and store open and closings according to the needs of the business.
- Experience in Eyewear fashion is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
