**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**:Newport, VIC

**Salary**:$33-35 per hour + Super + paid leave

**Days**:Mondays - Fridays

**Hours**:10am-6pm (slightly flexible)

**Children**:10 year old, 5 year old, and 2 month old

**Start date**: December or January (flexible for the right person).

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Fully vaccinated
- Drivers Licence and own car
- 2+ years of experience in similar roles
- 2 exceptional references for us to call.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
This close-knit family is seeking a reliable all-rounder They have had a previous long-term nanny and the girls enjoyed being with someone who could strike the balance between being a friend and being 'in charge'. The right person for this role will be loving and patient with all three children who are of very different ages/stages. They will be proactive and fun, and able to split each day between 3 different focuses - infant care, light household tasks, and after school activities/care.

The baby is still a newborn and with mum the majority of the day (either at home or in the office). This is likely to continue for quite a while but ideally he will spend a few hours each morning with the nanny, either in the home or out for a walk or outing.

The two girls will then need to be collected from school in the nanny's car (mileage will be reimbursed). There are a few after school activities requiring drop off/pick up and daily homework support will be needed. Outside of their commitments both girls are very social. The nanny must be comfortable with playdates and bigger outings in school holidays.

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
The parents run their own business, which comes with responsibility but also flexibility. Mum will likely manage the baby for the bulk of the day for many months to come. Both girls are kind and helpful (particularly the eldest), and adore their baby brother who is a very chill newborn so far. They are very close with their neighbours so the children are often visiting each other's homes.

The family has several pets (two dogs, a bunny, and two guinea pigs) and the girls have responsibilities to care for the animals, so the nanny must be comfortable with them around.
