**The Opportunity**

ANC is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to, encourage, inspire, and support our drivers to ensure their day-to-day success.

This pivotal role suits someone who loves to be hands on, working with our drivers and working with multiple cross-functional teams to produce positive delivery experiences.

ANC's operating mandate is to deliver the best possible outcome for clients and their customers by ensuring that every day is a successful day for our fleet of contracted drivers.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible in providing an extremely high level of customer service with the client, their customers and our contractor drivers through effective and efficient onsite support, and management of the allocation, loading and staging processes.

**What we are looking for in an Operations Supervisor**:

- Effective communication skills with an ability to develop and build positive relationships.
- High level of initiative and commitment to achieve results.
- Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving ability with a solution focused approach.
- Experienced in allocation and dispatch within the transport industry.
- Demonstrated ability to support and build an exceptional team environment, among staff and/or contractors.
- Experience and understanding of Transport Management Systems (FMS experience desirable)
- Familiarity with the State Road network and how it functions.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Lead, coach and retain a high-performing team of drivers. Set your team up for success to work safely and productively.
- You will be responsible for building a positive culture and will be accountable for ensuring excellent driver retention rates.
- Lead your driver teams in providing our customers with the best possible experience by ensuring day to day operational excellence.
- Dispatch work to drivers in a fair, impartial and professional manner to enable operational and fleet success.
- Own the futile delivery returns process from end to end, ensuring processes are followed correctly.
- Handle all communication with the client on site, regarding day-to-day operations as the first point of contact, occasionally executing customer bookings when required.
- You will work with the resourcing team to ensure correct fleet levels are maintained and collaborate with the Business Manager for any suggested adjustments to fleet.
- Everyone at ANC is responsible for safety.
- You will work with our drivers and operations team to ensure our robust initiatives are being executed to continue to improve driver safety & wellbeing.
