Certified Practicing Valuer, Real Estate Valuation

Our **Valuation Services** group offers technically sound, commercially focused independent valuations for specific client needs. Our forward-thinking and strategic team help clients formulate appropriate business objectives and strategies, taking a flexible approach that tailors services and resources to individual client needs.

**KPMG’s Valuation Services** is positioned within our **Deal Advisory and Infrastructure** group. This team has extensive experience in providing valuation advice in relation to transactions, reorganisations, disputes, litigations, financial reporting, restructurings and funds.

The **Real Estate Valuation Services** (REVS) team within **Valuation Services** provides robust valuations of land and buildings for top tier clients across a broad range of industries (locally and globally) and government entities for multiple purposes including financial reporting, tax (and stamp duty), pre and post transaction and audit support.

**Your Opportunity**

Forming part of the **Real Estate Valuation Services** team this role will play a key role in advising clients in relation to real estate valuations by:

- Preparing real estate valuations, either as standalone projects or as part of wider engagements across a broad range of sectors,
- Building relationships, both externally and internally with a range of clients,
- Assisting other teams through reviewing.

**How are you extraordinary?**

You are currently a passionate and high performing Senior Manager or experienced Manager within a real estate consultancy or valuation firm, a real estate advisory team in a similar consulting company, or a real estate team in a government agency and are looking for an opportunity to build a career in a national team.

You will be experienced in providing valuation advice across a range of property types such as commercial, industrial, retail, rural, residential development and more.

You have the ability to interpret the client’s needs and to scope and assist in the preparation of proposals and responses to tender requests for real estate valuation services.

- Bachelor's degree in Property, Valuation, or a related field.
- Registered Valuer in Queensland, a Licenced Land Valuer in Western Australia or an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute with Certified Practising Valuer status.
- Recent and relevant property experience either in real estate advisory, real estate valuation, property economics or property development.
- Proven experience in real estate valuation, with a strong understanding of various property types and market trends.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality valuation reports.
- Proficiency in relevant valuation software and tools.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to conduct property inspections.
